I would define myself as a ‘New Realist’.
“For me a ‘New Realist’ is someone who has the ability to look beyond the contemporary system of banks and the mortgage holders, manufacturers and consumers, economic theorists and the working man, politicians and the proletariat, and see the world as it is – a grand natural system, unique in the known universe; ancient, alive and bountiful.”
This blog will document my investigation and application of the term, and my attempt to live accordingly.
I love history. I love stories. I love Nature. I love culture, human and otherwise. I love the human mind. I love tapestries of people and events. And I love that an individual can soak up all of the great things around them everyday, and create their ownmeaning from them.
I have a basic curiosity in me. I see elements all around, formed into systems that interact with each other; systems of culture, of politics, of nature, and on. I follow them as they evolve over time. I trace that evolution back into the past, and I try to predict its path into the future.
I am passionate about creating my own meaning out of that grand tapestry.
I have a great respect for basic Human Nature.
I am eternally in awe of the Human Experience entire.
I believe dearly in the idea of Humanity.
I look for ways to aid the Human Community.
I strive for the Human Ideal.
I look forward to the day when the Human Element will prove to be a positive one for all life on earth.
I see the greatness inherent in the Human Body.
And I hope one day to educate people about the beauty, and the power, of the Human Moment.
All of these I will try to incorporate and explain throughout this Blog.
